Meet-ups for training

Join us!

Once again this year, the official training for the Zurich Malaga Marathon is back, run by Daniel Pérez Martínez, Technical Director of the Marathon and an athlete with a degree in Physical Activity and Sports Science and a Masters in High Performance in Sports.

The main new item is the incorporation of Bichos Runners – a Malaga club with a long tradition of taking part in our marathon (club competition winner in 2015), which will run face-to-face training and meet-ups for making it easier to train for the marathon.

The meet-ups will start with the Cooper Test on Tuesday 3 October to measure the athletes’ ability and resistance so we can use the data collected as a starting point.

Face-to-face training will involve long distances – of about 20 km.
